Carbon and Graphite Materials Manufacturer Partners with Taiwan’s Top-Ranked WTA Doubles Player in Strategic Commitment to Asia Pacific Markets
CHICAGO, IL, June 2026 – Element 6 (Ei6), a precision graphite manufacturer and carbon materials supplier serving the semiconductor, aluminum, and specialty industrial markets, today announced a sponsorship partnership with Wu Fang-Hsien (吳芳嫺) – Taiwan’s top-ranked professional doubles player on the WTA Tour. The partnership launches immediately ahead of Wimbledon 2026.
About Wu Fang-Hsien
Wu Fang-Hsien (吳芳嫺) is one of the most accomplished doubles players in Asia Pacific. A professional representing Chinese Taipei on the WTA Tour, she holds three WTA titles and achieved a career-high doubles ranking of No. 27 in September 2025. In early 2025, she won back-to-back WTA titles in Auckland and Hobart before reaching the final of the WTA 1000 Qatar Open. She enters Wimbledon 2026 on the heels of a doubles quarterfinal at the 2026 Australian Open – one of the strongest stretches of her career.
The Partnership
For Baker, the decision was a personal one as much as a professional one. “I love tennis, and Wu Fang-Hsien is the real deal. Three WTA titles, one of the best doubles players in the world right now, we’re just happy to be part of her journey.” Baker Kearney, CEO, Element 6.
Taiwan is a potential untapped market for Element 6 – home to the world’s most advanced semiconductor supply chain and a hub for aluminum production, both of which depend on high-purity carbon and graphite materials of the kind Element 6 supplies.
About Element 6 (Ei6)
Element 6 is a precision graphite manufacturer and carbon materials company with operations spanning globally. The company supplies specialty graphite machined components, graphite insulation, specialty graphite powder among other products throughout the Americas and Europe.
What sets Element 6 apart is its fully operational closed-loop material recovery system. Rather than treating end-of-life graphite as waste, the company collects, processes, and reintroduces recovered materials directly into its production cycle – diverting more than 2,400 tons of graphite from disposal annually and reducing virgin graphite input by 25 percent. This circular model is not a future commitment; it is operational today across all primary graphite streams.
Element 6 was founded in 1985 and relaunched in 2025. Its dual-market operations in Brazil and the United States reflect both the resourcefulness of its manufacturing roots and the scale of its North American commercial reach.
