Graphite Foil (PES)

Sealing and heat-barrier performance in sheet or roll form

Graphite foil delivers dependable sealing performance where temperature, pressure, and media challenge conventional materials. Choose from defined PES grades and thicknesses to balance carbon content, impurity levels, tensile strength, and compressibility for your service. Rolls and sheets support efficient nesting and part yield in production.

  • Typical uses include gasket and packing material, thermal barrier layers in high-heat assemblies, high-temperature valve sealing, protective vessel layers, and fuel-cell applications.
  • Stockable formats: sheets and rolls in multiple thickness ranges; ask for current width/length options.
  • Grades available: PES-15, PES-13, PES-10, PES-5, PES-2, PES-1N.

GRI Rigid Insulation

Graphite shapes for reduced heat loss and temperature uniformity

GRI rigid insulation is engineered for heat-treating environments that demand stable temperatures and long service life. Boards are available as base GRI as well as faced variants to tune durability, gas barrier, and radiative characteristics. Property data include density, mechanical strength, ash, and thermal conductivity across relevant temperatures and atmospheres.

  • GRI (base): slurry-formed board

Conformable insulation for resistance and induction furnaces

Carbon and graphite felts insulate complex geometries and allow consistent, uniform performance across hot zones. Select PAN-based or rayon-based materials in standard thicknesses and widths, with roll lengths that support efficient fabrication. Properties include density, carbon content, ash, specific heat, thermal conductivity at temperature, and typical processing temperature.
